A huge well done to our Sixers and Seconders who completed their Sixer Training this past weekend alongside other groups from the Western Province in St. Flannan’s, Ennis. They enjoyed two great days packed with training, activities, and an overnight.

Sixers and Seconders are the youth leaders of their Cub section for the scouting year ahead, and it’s a real honour to be chosen for these roles. The experience helps them grow their leadership skills, build confidence, and empowers them to have a voice in future planning within their section. We’re incredibly proud of each of them for stepping up to lead their peers.

Our youth members had a fantastic weekend full of fun, games, learning, and mixing with Cubs from other groups. It was a wonderful opportunity to make new friends, create memories, and no doubt get up to a few harmless shenanigans along the way.

On behalf of all the youth members who attended, we’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the brilliant training team who made the weekend such a success. The feedback from our Cubs has been overwhelmingly positive they loved the format, the fun learning sessions, the catering and of course, their lovely new badges.
